Confidence is a word I usually use everyday. You may know that I love to experiment with my style. I'm always dressed up, wearing a cool new hairstyle, a spunky pair of tights, or even wearing lipstick as eyeliner. I always feel like I can wear any style and make it work.
Dia & Co is a curated shopping experience, delivered to your doorstep, exclusively in sizes 14+! They wanted to challenge me to get out of my comfort zone, and I thought to myself: how can I, someone with no fashion limits, push myself. Thats when I thought, what if I went out of the house being the total opposite of me. This made me so scared because what would people think of me? I've always kept my fashion standards high and didn't want to break a streak with no makeup, undone hair, and some baggy sweats. I did it though! I felt so confident with my look by the end of a few days, and I'm no longer nervous to show a more natural side.
Traditionally, when you think of Spring the colors that come to mind automatically go to pastels. What if Spring switched it up this year? I collaborated with Bonobos to put some outfits together that feature both muted and brighter elements.
This outfit puts a new perspective on Spring-wear. As you can see, none of these colors are pastel. (Of course that will be made up for later) This outfit focuses on subtle floral patterns and an unexpected pop of color. This outfit is perfect because this jacket is light but is perfect if you don't feel like wearing a jean jacket.
jacket - Old Navy // dress - Charming Charlie's //
shoes - White House Black Market
First of all... I love these shoes! They're so over worn, but are perfect for so many occasions. This outfit is so cute because it uses mine and the rest of the world's favorite color. Pink is probably the only color I've seen lately, and I don't mind! I also added a jean jacket for the times the wind gets a bit chilly.
Being the "girliest" of the three, this is naturally my favorite. It features my favorite color to wear, a super cute chambray skirt, and the prettiest headband that I own. I mean, who needs a necklace when you have a headband with pearls.
